I am presently a Ph.D. student at the Division of Control and Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköpings universitet (University of Linköping). I started my Ph.D. studies February 2003 after completing my M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering (Y) at Linköpings universitet. In January 2006 and April 2008, I acquired the Licentiate of Engineering degree and the PhD degree, respectively, in Automatic Control.
My research focus is optimal control of DAE models. A DAE model is a may consist of both differential and algebraic equations. This type of system description occur frequently when object-oriented tools like Modelica are used to model a process. More information can be found in my PhD Thesis.
