Labs

There are 2 mandatory labs in the course:

• Lab 1 Fundamental signal processing. The purpose of this lab is to get practical experience with the theory and algorithms that are discussed in the course book.
• Lab 2 Active noise control. Active noise control deals with the problem of suppressing disturbing sound in real time. The purpose of this lab is to implement and test a method for active noise control using adaptive filters.

Practicalities

Both labs are conducted in groups of 2 students. You will have to register for lab 2. Information about the registration will be provided during the lecture.
